Common Sense, along with the leading Spanish company for tele-assistance services, Sabia, is starting the new tele-assistance company here in Serbia and in the surrounding countries. The new company, named Asistel is devoted to the improvement of the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of the elder persons who spend most of their time by themselves.
Asistel's mission is to help all the citizens to live with greater independence and dignity at the place they feel most comfortable in: their homes.
According to the EU countries' experience, the largest part of the tele-assistance services users are elder people who are over sixty years old, which counts for more than 1,5 million people in Serbia.
Knowing that the professionals from Asistel team are just a click of the button away gives our senior citizens the peace and the feeling of security throughout the day. The tele-assistance system that is worn around the neck or wrist, on the belt or the pocket, allows elder people to live alone in their homes knowing that the help is just a few minutes away 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The wellbeing as well as the independence of our senior citizens, i.e. our parents, friends and relatives should be of much greater importance to all of us - Asistel will try hard to accomplish its mission and to help solving this important social issue.
